A Unified Laboratory Ground of Science, Aesthetic Intuition, and Child Development
Serving Families Across Marin and Sonoma Counties
OUR PEDAGOGICAL FOUNDATION: THE THREE SCIENTIFIC METHODS UNIFIED
Early Discovery stands out by offering a unique, rigorous, and highly stimulating
approach to early childhood development. Rather than operating as a program merely
"inspired" by progressive trends, our curriculum is grounded in the real, scientific
foundations of the three greatest modern teaching philosophies, seamlessly woven
together under one roof:
• THE MONTESSORI MATHEMATICAL PRECISION: We utilize tactile, geometric sequencing and self-correcting materials to develop independent analytical thinking,
Transforming sensory practice into structural cognitive order.
• THE WALDORF RHYTHMIC FRAMEWORK: We nurture imagination and deep emotional security through oral storytelling patterns, daily artistic routines,
and a profound respect for the natural rhythms of childhood development.
• THE REGGIO EMILIA MULTI-SYMBOLIC ATELIER: We provide an expansive, creative studio environment where art operates as a primary language, encouraging children to
express their thoughts and explore natural physics through diverse symbolic media.
By unifying these three methodologies, Early Discovery offers that ultimate learning
freedom: an un-siloed, barrier-free experimental framework where the child's mind
natively balances structured observation with boundless creative curiosity.

Nouzha Evans, Founder & Research Director (Early Discovery Laboratory School)
Visual Explorer & Juried International Design Laureate
Nouzha Evans is a vanguard educator, visual artist, and child information processing
researcher with over forty years of independent study at the intersection of natural
physics, coordinate geometry, and progressive childhood development.
Her academic foundation spans eight years of intensive European residency across the
institutes of Grenoble, Nice, and Lille, France. She completed all doctoral requirements
in "Les Sciences de l'Éducation," conducting long-term comparative field analysis across
Lille, Germany, and Reggio Emilia, Italy, to map the core scientific mechanics of the
Montessori, Waldorf, and Reggio Emilia methodologies.
Following her research residency, she relocated to the San Francisco Bay Area,
completing fourteen (14) advanced courses in Computer Science and Digital Studio Art
at the University of California, Berkeley. For over twenty-five years, she has operated
Early Discovery as a singular, unified laboratory school, serving families across Marin
and Sonoma counties while providing elite progressive consulting to parents navigating
early learning development loops.
JURIED INTERNATIONAL ACCOLADES & COMMUNITY HOUSING
Her research-driven studio creations have received prestigious international recognition,
including multiple juried honors from the A' Design International Award and Competition:
• THE IRON A' DESIGN AWARD: Awarded for the "Expanding U Art Experiment"
(Advanced Spatial Geometry Matrix) 2025
• THE BRONZE A' DESIGN AWARD: Awarded for "Mind Art And Physics Entanglement"
(Chromatic Material Fluid Exploration) 2025
Over twenty-five years of operational leadership, her innovative studio program has
enjoyed the vibrant collaboration of classical musicians, writers, yoga instructors,
and local artists—cultivating a small, high-vanguard educational ecosystem where
children learn natively to balance structured observation with boundless creative curiosity.
